Savannah in the Round 2026 has wrapped up for another year. Over four days in Mareeba, thousands of campers and travellers made their way north for live music, big crowds and plenty of Far North Queensland hospitality. To everyone who came by the Norweld stand to say g’day, thank you for joining us.

Kicking off Savannah week at Copperlode

Savannah week started on Sunday 4 October with the Norweld Owners Grand Final Get-Together at Copperlode Brewery in Cairns. Owners, staff, family and friends caught up over a cold NorBeer with the NRL Grand Final on the big screen, before everyone headed up the range to Mareeba.

Four days of live music in Mareeba

The 2026 line-up delivered, with performances from ICEHOUSE, Don McLean and Lee Kernaghan headlining four days of music under the North Queensland sky. Between sets, the campgrounds filled with rigs from right across the country, and it was a treat to see so many Norweld builds among them.

The Norweld Buckle Bar

In Western tradition, a buckle is earned. Since 1971, Norweld has built its reputation making trays and canopies for vehicles that go further and work harder. Our owners are no different. You’ve built your own reputation through the adventures you’ve taken, the work you’ve put in and the standards you hold yourself to.

That’s what the Norweld buckle represents, and the Buckle Bar was our way of saying thank you to the Norweld family. From 3pm to 6pm, Thursday to Saturday, Norweld owners and a mate could choose a limited-edition Norweld belt buckle, make it their own with complimentary engraving and share a cold drink with the team.

It was great to put faces to the builds and hear where everyone’s Norweld has taken them.

On the Norweld stand

This year we set up in our biggest space yet at Savannah. One of our Ford Ranger Super Duty builds and Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series builds were on display all weekend, so visitors could get up close to the welds, the fitment and the detail of a Norweld tray and canopy, and talk through their own setup with the team.

On Saturday afternoon, Chelsea and Bryce from Caravan Adventures Australia joined us at the stand for a yarn about Norweld and life on the road.

If you’re in Far North Queensland and planning your next build, Norweld Cairns is just down the range from Mareeba.
