WHY FLEETS CHOOSE NORWELD

THE BUILD OUTLASTS THE VEHICLE
Trays and canopies transfer to the next vehicle using only a few additional parts, and the workmanship warranty carries with the build.

LESS TIME OFF THE ROAD
Welded into one structure rather than fastened together from panels. Nothing works loose, so less comes back as an unplanned job.

SUPPORTED WHEREVER THE FLEET RUNS
Fitted in one state and serviced in another by the same business that built it. Eight owned branches, owned rather than licensed.

ONE SPECIFICATION, EVERY INTAKE
Norweld engineers its own extrusion profiles, so the spec approved on vehicle one is the spec delivered on vehicle thirty.

New Rentals

Norweld fleet builds supporting New Rentals across mining and contract applications.
The Brief
New Rentals wanted a fleet partner that could scale with the business while helping differentiate its rental offering. Reliability was central: the equipment needed to stand up to harsh operating conditions, minimise downtime and support builds that could remain useful across multiple rental cycles.
The Build
Norweld supplied tray and configurable canopy setups suited to mining and contract work, with different configurations available for different customers and sectors. The partnership also supported product development as New Rentals committed to the range and continued expanding its fleet offering.
The Outcome
The partnership has grown to more than 150 Norweld builds so far. As New Rentals looks to expand beyond Western Australia, Norweld’s national branch footprint provides a support network that can scale with that growth.
Quasar

Norweld tray and canopy builds supporting Quasar’s fleet across mining and industrial operations.
The Brief
Quasar needed fleet vehicles that could stand up to mining environments where corrosion, cracked trays and equipment downtime can quickly become expensive. As the business grew, different teams also needed different levels of storage and onboard power depending on the work they were carrying out.
The Build
Norweld supplied a mix of tray, half-canopy and full-canopy configurations, with powered canopies used where teams needed to run air-conditioning equipment or keep tool batteries charged. Around 80% of Quasar’s builds were half-canopy configurations, with the setup selected around the role of each vehicle.
The Outcome
Quasar grew to around 40 vehicles while continuing to use Norweld across the fleet. Its original 2016 tray was still operating in the mines at around 400,000 km, while some canopy builds had already been transferred across three Hiluxes, helping extend the life of the investment and reduce fleet downtime.
