So i just finished a transcontinental journey from Byron bay to Steep point, yep, straight across the country and it was magnificent!! I highly recommend it and I’d do it again… In the 30+ days of the trip with all the corrugations, ruts, drop offs, and mud and all the other fun stuff you find out 4wding I managed to rupture a fuel tank, my 79 has had extensive modifications done to it and I thought that getting a fuel tank changed out would be fairly straightforward, oh but how wrong I was!!! I have winch on the rear and that in itself became a problem… nobody could get to the heads of the bolts holding the tank in… heads got scratched, brains got twisted, yeah I was in a delemma!! A real pickle!!! I reached out to Tom at Norweld in Perth…and well…time was found on the floor, and it was all hands on deck!!! Phone calls made, times and places set into motion, to me it was a massive effort, true customer service and care!!! See, I live , work and play in Sydney…I was on holiday with a broken truck The guys at Norweld pulled all the stops…they got me back on the road!!! I’ve had the truck since late 2023, when it was built, I love the canopy, I live out of it while I’m on the road, but I’m blown away by how they have helped me… they are not a company that’s just happy to sell you a product and send you on your way, na, they put their money where they’re mouth is and back their product, something you don’t see much of in this world anymore So… with their help, I’m rolling out to finish my journey tomorrow and yeah, if you ask me, their product is the best on the market, 50 thousand ks of some of the roughest roads in Australia and absolutely no dust has penetrated inside Well done Norweld, I’ll be back when I do the next build…

When Dave from Melbourne Norweld asked if I had seen a Norweld tray and Canopy and I answered 'No' he just laughed. But I knew the product and and completed lots of research. And we were not dissapointed. Nothing too hard, great advice and product knowledge. Thorough Handover. The wiring package is super clean, and the build quality is next level. definately 5/5 stars.

G’day. I’m Mick. Bought a Norweld tray for my 79 series in 2018. Sensational design and quality. Very happy. Then I got a canopy from the Melbourne branch. Dave and the boys are so good to deal with. Great service and product. I didn’t just buy the gear for its good looks. I really put it through its paces. I’ve done the cape, the gulf, most of the NT, Fraser, Kimberly, Canning stock route, and a lot of remote WA. Not to mention the Vic high country. (A lot) The gear has never let me down and it just works. You won’t find a tougher setup. Built for purpose. And the boys at Norweld love hearing about my travels.
