Meet Diesel & Dirt Contracting

Diesel & Dirt Contracting provide fully qualified and highly experienced mining personnel Australia wide. As a Mining and Construction Hub, they have been supplying specialised labour hire, FIFO and DIDO services, field service vehicles and component rebuilds to the mining and construction industries throughout Australia for over 20 years. Their component workshop is located in Perth, Western Australia, ensuring efficient service delivery and support to their clients across the country.

About Diesel & Dirt’s Norweld Build

Initially, Diesel & Dirt Contracting ordered 12 ute trays and canopies from Norweld for their fleet, which has now expanded to 35 vehicles. According to Diesel & Dirt Operations Manager Al Kristensen, Norweld stood out due to its blend of functionality, durability and aesthetics.

“We liked the innovative ideas that Norweld have, and the ability to customise what we wanted, the way we wanted to make it work for our team,” Al said.

Despite traversing thousands of kilometres across rugged environments, including mine sites and salty gold mining towns, the Norweld setups have proven resilient and compact, with ample space for tools. The addition of the upright fridge has also been very well received by Diesel & Dirt team! The collaborative relationship between Diesel & Dirt and Norweld, which extends beyond commercial transactions, has been based on innovation and sharing ideas.

Both Al and Diesel & Dirt Director Brock Johnson are so impressed with the Norweld builds that they have installed Norweld ute trays and canopies on their own vehicles for recreational use.
