We could not be happier with our experience at Norweld. From setting up a time to come to the shop and view the trays and canopies to order and delivery, James and his team have been exceptional. We purchased a tray and canopy for a 79 series land cruiser and the products are amazing. Without question they are the best quality canopies on the market. The aluminum welds are perfectly done. A side by side comparison with any other canopy shows the quality difference in both the materials and the workmanship. It was a big spend but we are extremely happy with the value and what was provided. 10/10 would purchase again. We have a big trip planned and will update with photos once we get back.

Purchased tray and canopy back in 2017 before these guys had a Perth warehouse was probably one of the first in the west. Yes it is a big expense but the quality is amazing. But the most impressive part is the after sales and how any issues are handled. Over the years of having my canopy any issue is sorted quickly and no questions asked. No other company back their product like norweld do.

A massive thank you to Norweld Brisbane especially Georgia and Jure for your prompt help, advice and professionalism. After an accident on the way from Adelaide to the Sunshine Coast. A complete tray base, tool boxes, wheel guards, trundle and water tank sorted and fitted in under 2 weeks. Even with parts coming down from Cairns. A huge shout out Thank You to Georgia, Jure and Dan at Norweld Brendale. After taking delivery of my new 79 Series Landcruiser (fitted with a Norweld canopy as part of the new vehicle purchase) my Clearview fridge slide did not fit on to the fridge slide mount. I contacted Georgia who was really helpful getting my vehicle back in to investigate. On inspection it was revealed I had inadvertently indicated the wrong fridge slide model number when ordering. Dan (in the workshop) was great with his knowledge and experience he was able to relocate the fridge slide and battery mounts to suit and maximise the canopy floor space. The integrity and workmanship quality of the adjustments did not compromise the finish of the build at all, looks as good as the day it was built. Dan even went the extra step fitting the fridge slide with the fridge and replaced the entire floor.So I didn’t have to wait at the factory Jure gave me a lift back to our van parked down the road and came back to pick me up when the work had been finished. The co-operation, assistance and extra effort provided by Georgia, Dan and Jure was very much appreciated, they went over and above with their customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. I’d been frothing over a Norweld tray since 2016 when I saw my first episode of a popular 4×4 show on YouTube. In 2019 I got my first tray in the US by way of an importer. I absolutely loved that thing, it was a deluxe weekender and I put it on my 2018 Tundra. I loved it so much that I had to have the bedsides and 2 pack paint, which I was able to get with my second tray in 2021. The craftsmanship is impeccable. I’ve used and abused this new tray in nearly every possible way and every environment, and I can honestly tell you it will easily outlast my truck. Lucky for me I’ll take the tray and put it on the next truck when that time does come. Thankfully their customer service is legendary, and although I had an issue back in 2019 with my filler neck, Isaac and his team got straight to it and sent me out the fix within a few weeks. These guys are legends in my book.

I spent a fair bit of time investigating when it came to choosing a canopy. The incredible reviews that Norweld had always stood out to me, better than just about any brand or product I’ve ever seen. There were a hell of a lot of reviews that started with “I don’t usually write reviews, but for a product/service this good, I had to” – and now I am in the same boat.I purchased a deluxe gen2 canopy base and a deluxe canopy package with a few extras. I don’t think there is any doubting the quality of the product, and that is fairly well documented in the 4wd/touring community. However, the service I received from Norweld was nothing short of first rate. Like most people these days, I am exposed to customer service very frequently but still can hardly remember a better experience when purchasing. I dealt primarily with James, but also with Jonathon and Jenna. Right from start to finish, they were all incredibly polite, informative, helpful and friendly. Not a great deal more you can ask for. James offered me everything I needed during quoting stage to give me the certainty that Norweld was the way to go. He was responding to me during the Christmas period, sent diagrams or specs so I could ensure the suitability, answered every question I had (no matter how left field) and ultimately made the experience very simple for me.I was given plenty of information about scheduling, getting the vehicle to them and the progress of the build. When there was some dramas and changes with the vehicle coming from Japan and the ETA kept moving back, they were more than accomodating with moving install dates around. When the vehicle then suddenly came early, they had the canopy built and squeezed my install in earlier than expected on short notice.I can’t, in any way, fault the goods or the service I received from Norweld, big thanks to everyone involved from their team. I’ll undoubtedly be recommending them to anyone in the market for a tray and canopy and it is certainly my intention to remain loyal to them following this experience.

After 14 months on the road, most of it off road in WA, I cannot speak highly enough about our Norweld canopy. We tented it, so our canopy was our kitchen, wardrobe and general storage. The canopy kept eveything dry and dustless. The after sales service on the road and on our return has been the best after sales service we have ever had for any product or service. I can confidently recommend Norweld and Jonathon and the staff from the Sydney branch are fantastic to deal with.

I had a Norweld tray and canopy fitted to my RAM 2500 over 2 years ago. One of the keyed locks on the trundle drawer jammed and was inoperative. While i was visiting Cairns I dropped into Norweld to see if I could buy a new T handle assembly, their answer was no, they would replace the faulty one free of charge. A guy came out of the factory and replaced the faulty part while I waited. Unbelievable customer service. I advise anyone looking to buy a tray and/or canopy to only consider Norweld. Their product is excellent and their customer service is above and beyond expectation.

My Elderly mum dropped my Ute off today as I live up north. Norweld team were so polite and gave her a lift to the train station, even walking her in to make sure she new what platform. This sort of care from a business is hard to find today and I commend this business for such a gesture.

Hi,Had an issue with my toolbox not opening and I spoke to Dion who operates the Norweld Perth Branch ans he advised me what to try,I did this and it worked thanks to the advice from Dion.He did say if I cant get the box on or to bring it down which I thought was good of him but it all worked out.Good work Norweld.Forgot to mention but it wasnt a fault with the toolbox it was because I put too much stuff in the inside and it jammed the door handle so I couldnt open it.Cheers Johnny

I would just like to pass on a well done and big thank you to the team at Norweld, Jenna and Jono just to name a few of the team at Norweld that brought my dream rig together. After delays acquiring the ute and having to change from an Isuzu to a BT Mazda, Norweld (Jono) didn’t have a problem and couldn’t do enough for me while we waited for the car to arrive. Advice on suspension and electrical system was spot on. In November 2021 the tourer was ready for the Big Read Bash Birdsville via lightning ridge, Thargomindah, Cameron Corner, Innnamincka then Birdsville and back to Sydney. The Norweld was fantatic, the electric system didn’t miss a beat feeding two fridges, lights and all the other mod cons. No dust in the canopy and the rig rode well across all road types and the Norweld build turned heads everywhere it was parked and the number one comment was the quality of the work in the build and I would add the customer service is of the highest quality thank you Norweld.

I have had my Norweld canopy for a couple of years now and the service and help from Jono and the Sydney team is without doubt the best after sales service I have ever experienced. Another example this week where I went in for help with one of the drawers and they ended up spending 30 minutes helping me with an issue with the solar panel – totally nothing to do with Norweld but as always happy to help.
