Not usually one to leave reviews, but Sydney Norweld 100% deserve the 5 stars.From the outset, Jon has been nothing but professional and helpful—first with getting a tray sorted for my vehicle, and now guiding me toward the right canopy to suit my lifestyle, circumstances, and budget.I’m a pretty fussy guy when it comes to getting things right, especially when I’m paying for it, and the boys at Norweld Sydney absolutely delivered.The biggest standout from this whole experience? Their aftercare service. I had a major mechanical failure from a component fitted by another 4×4 shop, which caused my wheel to fall off just 400km after the install—resulting in serious damage to my brand new tray (only 350km old). Had a Norweld canopy fitted to a new 79 Dual Cab build in 2020. Fantastic guys to deal with, canopy is made extremely well with zero issues 5 years later. Would highly recommend to any potential canopy buyer.

We could not be happier with our experience at Norweld. From setting up a time to come to the shop and view the trays and canopies to order and delivery, James and his team have been exceptional. We purchased a tray and canopy for a 79 series land cruiser and the products are amazing. Without question they are the best quality canopies on the market. The aluminum welds are perfectly done. A side by side comparison with any other canopy shows the quality difference in both the materials and the workmanship. It was a big spend but we are extremely happy with the value and what was provided. 10/10 would purchase again. We have a big trip planned and will update with photos once we get back.

Purchased tray and canopy back in 2017 before these guys had a Perth warehouse was probably one of the first in the west. Yes it is a big expense but the quality is amazing. But the most impressive part is the after sales and how any issues are handled. Over the years of having my canopy any issue is sorted quickly and no questions asked. No other company back their product like norweld do.

Noreekd Townsville and Will Mansfield have been amazing to deal with.1 year ago they fitted a Norweld tray to my new 79 Series, it was a very short time frame and their professionalism and project management skills ensured I had a tray on in as short a timeframe feasible.After a year the tray is still perfect , excellent quality and looks amazing..I am currently in the process of getting a compact canopy and once again the production journey and the excellent service and knowledge from Will and his team has been second to none !!Do it once .. fit a Norweld you won’t regret it!!!

Just had my 2nd Norweld installed on my Dual cab 79 and Canopy going on Next Month and once again cannot fault the build quality you do really get what you pay for. Also cannot recommend Jure and his team enough at Brendale nothing is a problem and their customer service is above and beyond many others. Thanks again cannot wait to get out and use it!

Got a tray and canopy for my Hilux, unbelievable craftsmanship on the build, every weld top notch and thought put into the design throughout. Makes for a tough looking Ute. James was super easy to deal with at the start, running me a few quotes back and forth. And the workshop guy was a legend too! Thanks again guys, can’t reccomend enough
An absolute pleasure to deal with Jonathon Warren, supported by Jenna Alley (from my perspective) could not have done more to make the purchase a stress free experience. Being forward leaning as you two were and keeping me informed each step of the way was much appreciated.AND THEN…..There’s the canopy! I like to think I have fairly high standards when it comes to what I want for my cars but NORWELD has far exceeded my expectations. A beautiful canopy to look at (its on my new Next Gen Ranger) but is also so functional. Stunning to say the least!!The car is off getting a few more tweaks before its ready to tour but I can’t wait to live out of the canopy in the Desert next year.Thanks again Jonathon and Jenna!I couldn’t recommend Norweld or the Sydney team highly enough.

A huge shout out Thank You to Georgia, Jure and Dan at Norweld Brendale. After taking delivery of my new 79 Series Landcruiser (fitted with a Norweld canopy as part of the new vehicle purchase) my Clearview fridge slide did not fit on to the fridge slide mount. I contacted Georgia who was really helpful getting my vehicle back in to investigate. On inspection it was revealed I had inadvertently indicated the wrong fridge slide model number when ordering. Dan (in the workshop) was great with his knowledge and experience he was able to relocate the fridge slide and battery mounts to suit and maximise the canopy floor space. The integrity and workmanship quality of the adjustments did not compromise the finish of the build at all, looks as good as the day it was built. Dan even went the extra step fitting the fridge slide with the fridge and replaced the entire floor.So I didn’t have to wait at the factory Jure gave me a lift back to our van parked down the road and came back to pick me up when the work had been finished. The co-operation, assistance and extra effort provided by Georgia, Dan and Jure was very much appreciated, they went over and above with their customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. I’d been frothing over a Norweld tray since 2016 when I saw my first episode of a popular 4×4 show on YouTube. In 2019 I got my first tray in the US by way of an importer. I absolutely loved that thing, it was a deluxe weekender and I put it on my 2018 Tundra. I loved it so much that I had to have the bedsides and 2 pack paint, which I was able to get with my second tray in 2021. The craftsmanship is impeccable. I’ve used and abused this new tray in nearly every possible way and every environment, and I can honestly tell you it will easily outlast my truck. Lucky for me I’ll take the tray and put it on the next truck when that time does come. Thankfully their customer service is legendary, and although I had an issue back in 2019 with my filler neck, Isaac and his team got straight to it and sent me out the fix within a few weeks. These guys are legends in my book.

I spent a fair bit of time investigating when it came to choosing a canopy. The incredible reviews that Norweld had always stood out to me, better than just about any brand or product I’ve ever seen. There were a hell of a lot of reviews that started with “I don’t usually write reviews, but for a product/service this good, I had to” – and now I am in the same boat.I purchased a deluxe gen2 canopy base and a deluxe canopy package with a few extras. I don’t think there is any doubting the quality of the product, and that is fairly well documented in the 4wd/touring community. However, the service I received from Norweld was nothing short of first rate. Like most people these days, I am exposed to customer service very frequently but still can hardly remember a better experience when purchasing. I dealt primarily with James, but also with Jonathon and Jenna. Right from start to finish, they were all incredibly polite, informative, helpful and friendly. Not a great deal more you can ask for. James offered me everything I needed during quoting stage to give me the certainty that Norweld was the way to go. He was responding to me during the Christmas period, sent diagrams or specs so I could ensure the suitability, answered every question I had (no matter how left field) and ultimately made the experience very simple for me.I was given plenty of information about scheduling, getting the vehicle to them and the progress of the build. When there was some dramas and changes with the vehicle coming from Japan and the ETA kept moving back, they were more than accomodating with moving install dates around. When the vehicle then suddenly came early, they had the canopy built and squeezed my install in earlier than expected on short notice.I can’t, in any way, fault the goods or the service I received from Norweld, big thanks to everyone involved from their team. I’ll undoubtedly be recommending them to anyone in the market for a tray and canopy and it is certainly my intention to remain loyal to them following this experience.
