Meet Worthy Wanderers

Meet Adam and Kylie —the family behind Worthy Wanderers. Sharing their adventures around Australia in their 2022 chopped 300 Series LandCruiser GR Sport , equipped with a Norweld Deluxe Plus Tray and Pro Touring Concepts Canopy Package, they also tow a 2024 Leader Caravans 19’6 Xpedition. Their Insta feed is full of stunning Aussie landscapes, thrilling fishing experiences —especially highlighted in their 2024 XXXX Barra Classic Insta posts, and loads of practical travel tips, all aimed at inspiring their followers to explore new destinations. Enough from us, let’s hear what the Worthy Wanderers have to say about their Norweld.

We are Adam and Kylie from Worthy Wanderers and this is our 2022 Chopped 300 Series LandCruiser GR Sport built by Pro Touring Concepts.

As a family of four, we completed the Big Lap in 2022 and have always had a passion for boating, camping, fishing and the outdoors. Kylie and I had always dreamt of travelling Australia and after endless COVID lockdowns, we just said, ‘stuff it’, were going! Early into our travels, we decided that we didn’t want to return home to Sydney and wanted to continue living more of this adventurous, wanderer life for as long as we could while our kids were young. We love being remote and that means supplies. Supplies means storage. With two young kids and a rooftop tinny, space was tight (as was weight). A canopy was our only solution. Since converting to the canopy, we really don’t think we could go back!

We love the flexibility and workmanship of the Norweld Tray and Canopy. We have both a Rooftop Tinny and Rooftop Tent which are interchangeable on the Norweld canopy. We use the Tinny when travelling with the caravan and when it’s a fishing mission with the big boat, we can switch to the rooftop tent! We carry different gear in the canopy depending on what we are towing, so the flexibility to move, add or delete shelving, pantries and even the Almac boat slide is a massive bonus.

With 200AH of Lithium battery, 2000w inverter, solar, pressure fed water, fridge and plenty of storage we can literally live anywhere out of our 300 Series LandCruiser GR Sport. We have a GVM of 4495, meaning we can take full advantage of the space available in the canopy and tray.

We see a lot of rain, heat and red dust up here in the Northern Territory, but are very pleased with how the canopy handles extreme weather conditions. We have never seen red dust inside the canopy!

I, Adam had dreamt of a Norweld canopy since my first 4WD. So to be on now our second Norweld tray and canopy, using it everyday and living out of it is literally a dream come true. Not only is the product everything you would expect, with some very impressive manufacturing, the team behind the brand are absolute legends and always willing to assist. We are very proud Norweld owners!
