Meet Erin McGinty

Erin McGinty is an avid spearfisher with multiple world records to her name. Her deep passion for the marine environment led her to earn a PhD in Marine Science and bought her own boat so that every good weather day she could be out on the water! Over the years, Erin’s love for exploration took her to some of Australia’s most remote regions, including the Kimberley and Torres Straits, where she lived and worked as a marine scientist. Now based in Cairns, Erin spends her time creating adventure content, sharing her experiences with the world.

Erin McGinty’s Norweld Build

To complement her adventurous lifestyle, Erin now has a Norweld Deluxe Compact Canopy on her D-Max that allows her to travel by land to those remote locations. After a long day on the water, Erin can return to her Norweld setup, cook up dinner, store fish, recharge camera gear and enjoy a comfortable sleep. This base camp allows Erin to venture off-grid for longer periods, fully embracing the freedom of the life she so very loves.
