THE OPPORTUNITY
  
Do you want to fit out some of Australia’s best 4WD’s? We have an exciting opportunity for a Tray and Canopy Fitter to join our Perth branch in Wangara. You’ll enjoy a great work/life balance with a 4-day week and no weekend work, in a new, clean work environment. The role will involve working with new products on high-end vehicle builds, with the support of an experienced team.

You will be responsible for performing varied fitting tasks to support the quality installation of tray and canopy packages. You will maintain a high level of safety, reliability and operational performance to ensure customer satisfaction. 
  
Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Performing varied fitting tasks, including fitment of trays and canopies and accessories, and packing and loading builds
  • Ensuring trays and canopies are cleaned once work and logging job reports in scheduling systems in line with company procedure
  • Carrying out inspections and quality control throughout the production process
  • Ensuring the health and safety of all customers, visitors and team members
  • Undertaking activities in a team environment and meeting safety, time, quality and production targets
  • Identifying, assessing and controlling workplace hazards
  • Maintaining workplace cleanliness and tool and equipment care
  • Effectively managing occasional overflow customer enquiries to support the branch manager.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  
The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Current licenses and certificates (including Australian Manual Drivers Licence and Forklift ticket)
  • Excellent quality of work and time management skills
  • Strong, ongoing commitment to workplace health & safety
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-skilled team environment
  • Sound knowledge of 4×4 Makes, Models and popular accessories and brands (desirable)
  • Passion for the outdoors, off-roading and camping is a plus!
