THE OPPORTUNITY
  
Here at Norweld, we are continuing to grow our team to keep up with customer demand! This means we have upcoming opportunities for Boilermakers or First Class Welders with experience in aluminium fabrication to join our Perth branch, located in Wangara. Enjoy a great work/life balance with a 4-day week and no weekend work, in a clean work environment. High level MIG and TIG welding skills are essential, as you will be responsible for manufacturing and welding Norweld tray and canopy components for high-end vehicle builds, with the support of an experienced team.
  
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out welding activities to manufacture, fabricate and repair parts and components
  • Ensuring trays and canopies are cleaned once work is complete
  • Undertaking activities in a team environment and meeting safety and production targets
  • Carrying out inspections and quality control throughout the manufacturing and production process
  • Ensuring the health and safety of all customers, visitors and team members
  • Identifying, assessing and controlling workplace hazards
  • Maintaining workplace cleanliness and tool and equipment care

 WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  
The ideal candidate will have:  

  • Trade certificate or qualification and/or relevant experience
  • Excellent quality of work and time management skills
  • Current licenses and certificates
  • Strong, ongoing commitment to workplace health & safety
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-skilled team environment
  • Sound knowledge of 4×4 Makes, Models and popular accessories and brands (desirable)
  • Passion for the outdoors, off-roading and camping is a plus!
